This is my second month with Birchbox and I was kind of on the fence about it when it first arrived. At first glance, it didn't seem quite as fun as the first one.
However, once I started trying things, I changed my mind.
At first glance
The overview. My thoughts are in bold.
Jouer: Luminizing Moisture Tint--I've never used a tinted moisturizer but I really liked this. I might save it to try in the summer because right now my skin is at it's PALEST and even the light shade is too dark. It made my skin a bit shiny but it didn't feel oily so that's a plus.
Benta Berry: G-1 Moisturizing Face Cream--an all natural moisturizer which regulates oil levels and keeps skin matte. I think I'm going to have to get this. I have extremely oily skin and even with oil free moisturizers, I feel like my face is slick. My skin felt amazing with this.
Lifestyle Extra--Supersmile:Powdered Mouthrinse--just add water to the pouch and it creates an on-the-go refeshing mouthwash. I tried it out and it wasn't awful. It had a subtle mint flavor but my one dislike was that not all the powder dissolved even after you repeat the rinse. I'll stick with my Crest mouthwash.
Dermalogica: Daily Microfoliant--an exfoliating powder. Just add water to create a paste that will buff dead cells away. This was AMAZING. My skin felt so soft afterwards and it's very gentle.
Violent Lips: Temporary Lip Tattoos--These celeb favorites are a fun way to sass up your usual lip color. All I have to say is who came up with this ridiculous idea??? I tried them out and would never go out in public, and I'm too embarrassed to post a picture. I got the top lip on fine but it made my lip super dry. I hated it. I couldn't get the bottom part to stick so I just didn't bother. I don't know who would use these. They look ridiculous.

I saw that someone else got those lip tattoos in their feb birchbox. They are SO weird!! haha I would like to try a moisturizer with a tint. My face is usually pretty pale even in the summer. Does it have spf?
I am dying over the lip tattoos! I so hope I don't get those in my February box but all of the other stuff sounds pretty awesome!

The lip tattoos sound like they would be awesome for some crazy sports fan or for an unusual halloween costume! haha
The moisturizer sounds like something I'd like to try. Isn't oily skin the worst? SO frustrating.

Haha, I had a lot of those same items, but I did not get the wild lip tattoos! That is just all kinds of crazy... and yet I don't think I'd be able to resist trying it out!
