My Valentine

Dylan and I haven't ever been big on Valentine's Day, mainly because we're hardly together on the day.  Just like this year.  

My love left for training yesterday so we didn't make any Valentine's Day plans but that doesn't mean I can't talk about him.

Let's ignore the fact that he's squishing me and making my glasses all wonky :)

 

He was such a good husband yesterday morning because even though it was 4am, he agreed to take one last picture before he left for training.  

Dylan is the best husband for me.

He makes me laugh and smile when I don't want to.  He knows just what to do to make me happy.

He prays over us.  I love that he's the spiritual leader of our family.  

I love the quiet moments with him when we're both in bed but I'm reading and he's watching tv.  

I love when he sings songs to me, more specifically, songs that he says remind him of me.  He sings a lot of Brad Paisley and that always brings me to tears...in the best way!

Most of all, I love his heart.  He's so caring and would do anything for anyone.  How I was so blessed with him is beyond me.  He has my heart.

 

Happy Valentine's Day to my love.  I'll cook a big dinner when you're home that will be better than last year's Valentine's Day meal!
