A Month Of Dates

I can't believe March is already here.  I'm really not prepared for this month since Dylan deploys.  I feel like I'm calm about it until I actually say it out loud and then I have a mild panic attack.

Since we have one month left, I'm determined to make it a fun one!  I know the stress can creep into our lives so easily and I want to try to avoid it if we can.  What better than some fun date nights??

I saw this idea on Pinterest

The sticks are color coded and they represent dates to do at home, out, and some that require bit more planning!  These ideas came from this site (although some of them I thought of before I saw this!)

These dates are ones that we can do at home and that wouldn't need a whole lot of planning.

Homemade pizza night

Takeout and board games

1,000 piece puzzle (oh.my.word. I don't do puzzles) and pizza

Dessert only date--we'll have to see how Dylan reacts to this one

These dates will take a bit of planning since we'll go out.

Fancy (ish) dinner out--I'm thinking Friar Tucks in Nevada City--not too sure Dylan will go for this one.  I might be able to convince him!

Dinner and a movie (my choice and his choice)

Coffee (or hot chocolate for me) date

Sky Zone trampoline date

Even if we can't do them all before he leaves (I know there aren't that many but life gets busy) we can do them when he gets back!

What are some of your favorite dates?

That's a great idea! Our favorite dates are usually just a dinner out together. We never get a peaceful and quiet dinner at home, so it's nice to go out and relax, not have any dogs jumping on us, barking or trying to steal our food - and to have someone else make and serve the food for once! It's the simple things!

My favorite date is any child-free occasion. These usually occur when my mama is here, or the rare occasion when I can snag one of my friends to watch Lilly-kins. Otherwise, my favorite dates are all very child friendly. Dinner out, dinner in, movie night, going to the playground. You see, I lead a thrilling life. ;) I like the homemade pizza one. Homemade pizza is sooooooo yummy. Pizza stones are where it's at.

What a cute idea. My favorite date night is cooking dinner together and watching a movie we both like or just talking and acting silly:)

Oh, I used to do many puzzles!
But I don't think my hubby would love to do it...
